At the end of July, a filmmaking team of promising graduates of the Miroslav Ondříček Film Academy in Písek visited our camps in Sumatra.
In particular, they were Jakub Charvát, Matěj Dubenský, Jiří Šmíd, Tomáš Grach and Adéla Hodinová, who had 46 days to film a material for the “Nedej se” (Do not give up) television show (26 minutes – December 2017) and the student film about the projects Green Life and Blue Life (more than 60 minutes – 2018).
Throughout the filming, the team moving to several places in the rainforest wildlife, Pulau Banyak islands in the Indian Ocean, and collected materials from Green & Blue volunteer programs, anti-poaching activities and official talks on protecting Indonesian nature.
The team was filming in severe climatic conditions, drowned several technical devices, suffered intestinal difficulties and minor injuries. Despite all the discomfort, the team did amazing job. Even though we fell behind with some work due to the filming, it in no way affected the functioning of the project. We would like to thank the entire team for their work and enrichment of our project!
